Your Questions, ANSWERED

We want you to feel confident and comfortable before you even step through the door.

Whether you’re dealing with pain, recovering from injury, or simply looking to move and feel better, here are answers to some of the most common questions we’re asked.

What do you treat?

We support a wide range of conditions, with a focus on helping you move better, feel stronger, and get back to doing what you love. This includes:

– Chronic and persistent pain
– Everyday aches and pains (back, neck, shoulders)
– Injury recovery and rehabilitation
– Return to sport and performance support
– Pregnancy-related pain and postnatal recovery

What should I expect at my first appointment?

Your first session includes a detailed consultation, assessment, and hands-on treatment. We’ll also explain what’s going on in your body and provide advice or rehab exercises to support your recovery.

Do I need a referral from my GP?

No, you can book directly with us without a referral.

How many sessions will I need?

This depends on your condition and goals. Some people feel improvement within 2 – 4 sessions, while others benefit from ongoing care. We’ll always discuss a clear plan with you at your first appointment.

What should I wear to my appointment?

Comfortable clothing is best. You may be asked to move during your assessment, so something you can easily move in is ideal.

Do you offer sports massage or other treatments?

Yes, alongside osteopathy we offer sports massage and soft tissue therapy to support recovery, reduce tension, and improve performance.

Is treatment painful?

Most treatments are gentle and tailored to your comfort level. Some techniques may feel slightly uncomfortable, especially if an area is sensitive, though we always work within your tolerance.

Can you help with long-term or recurring pain?

Yes – our focus is on identifying and treating the root cause of your symptoms, not just short-term relief. We also give you tools to help prevent the issue from returning, like our shockwave therapy machine.

Is there parking available?

There is no parking directly outside the clinic, but there are nearby car parks by Sainsburys and St Mary’s church which are both a short walk away.

How do I book an appointment?

You can book online through our website or contact us directly via phone or email. If you’re unsure what to book, we’re happy to guide you.

Have a different question?

We want you to feel fully informed and confident before your appointment.

If you have a question that hasn’t been answered here, get in touch and we’ll be happy to help. Our team will get back to you as soon as possible so you can move forward with clarity.
